Dental Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking an experienced dentist to provide dental treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote Northern Territory communities. This locum-based role offers short-term placements where you will work on-site in remote clinics, delivering culturally safe, high-quality care in collaboration with health professionals.

The role is ideal for dentists who are passionate about delivering culturally responsive healthcare and working in a unique and challenging environment. You will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in Aboriginal culture and explore some of Australia's most breathtaking remote landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide dental treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote NT communities.
  • Work collaboratively with health professionals to deliver culturally safe, high-quality care.
  • Participate in cultural orientation and 24/7 support to ensure a smooth transition into remote healthcare.
Requirements:
  • Current NT Radiation License or application for NT Radiation License.
  • Minimum of 2 years full-time postgraduate clinical experience in a relevant clinical setting.
  • Minimum of 250 hours of relevant full-time clinical experience working as a dentist within the past 12 months.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
