This role bridges the gap between software engineering and financial risk, working closely with traders and operations teams to ensure real-time insights and robust risk analytics.

Developing tools and systems to support post-trade operations and risk management is the primary mission at Life Trading.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain tools and systems to support post-trade operations and risk management.
  • Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines for internal and external data.
  • Aggregate, reconcile, and analyze trading data from multiple sources.
  • Calculate and explain P&L and various risk metrics across a range of trading strategies.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Maths, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
  • Advanced skill and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets and trading concepts.
  • Knowledge of market risk and how it's quantified.
  • A data-focused mindset and strong analytical skills are essential for this role.
