About the Role:

  • This is a senior-level project coordination role that requires expertise in managing large commercial and industrial projects.
  • The successful candidate will oversee employees and external subcontractors across multiple sites to achieve project milestones.
  • They will ensure compliance with QA, OH&S, and environmental requirements.
  • The coordinator will provide regular reports to the Construction Manager.
  • Key responsibilities include time management, resource allocation, labor supervision, supplier management, and contractor coordination according to the project plan.
  • Achieving project milestones within the project timeline and meeting client expectations are essential.
  • The coordinator will build strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Project and Excel for planning and scheduling projects is required.

About You:

  • Candidates must hold trade qualifications as an electrical professional.
  • Demonstrated experience in project coordination on large commercial and industrial projects is essential.
  • Proficiency in managing large 3-phase installations and interpreting complex network diagrams is necessary.
  • Experience with High Voltage installations is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Automation/Control installations experience is also desirable.
  • Candidates should be able to prepare quotations for projects.
  • A proactive approach to working autonomously and collaboratively is required.
  • Managing and exceeding client expectations is key.
  • Excellent communication skills and negotiation abilities are essential.
  • Business or project management-related studies are desirable.
  • Strong computer literacy for efficient project coordination practices is necessary.

Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $115,000 per annum
