Associate - Quantity Surveyor Role

Deliver high-profile projects across commercial, education, health, infrastructure, and mixed-use developments as an Associate.

Lead client engagements, mentor junior team members, and oversee the full project lifecycle from feasibility through to final account.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage pre- and post-contract cost management services for a portfolio of major projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships by providing strategic commercial advice.
  • Oversee the preparation of cost plans, estimates, tender reviews, and value engineering.
  • Mentor a team of quantity surveyors and cadets.
  • Provide commercial oversight and reporting, ensuring financial control and project efficiency.
  • Contribute to business development and fee proposals in collaboration with directors.
  • Represent the firm in meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in quantity surveying with consultancy background preferred.
  • Proven leadership in cost management and client-facing delivery.
  • Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
  • AIQS, RICS, or equivalent professional membership (or working toward).
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience working on mid- to large-scale building or infrastructure projects in Australia.
