Role Overview

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and working in a dynamic environment.

As a Guest Experience Host, you will be responsible for greeting and registering owners and guests, providing information on local area attractions, and completing all department-related paperwork.

You will also use communication equipment such as telephones, facsimiles, and computers to assist in the tour generation process and meet targets and KPI's set by the business.

This role requires you to be available for weekend and public holiday shifts.

  • Providing personalized greetings and registrations for owners and guests
  • Offering insider knowledge on local area attractions and hidden gems
  • Ensuring all department-related paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently
  • Utilizing effective communication skills to engage with customers and colleagues alike
  • Assisting in the tour generation process to ensure that prospects meet the company's tour qualification specifications
  • Meeting guests face-to-face and generating sales appointments for our sales centers located at our amazing resorts and via livestream
  • Building rapport and establishing commonality with customers to deliver an exceptional experience
  • Collaborating closely with the resort operations team to provide a high level of service and a seamless transition for owners and guests through the check-in process
  • Clearly articulating the benefits of traveling within our community
  • Meeting targets and KPI's as set by the business
What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience within a similar hotel position
  • A genuine passion for customer service and the local area
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a positive attitude
  • Immaculate presentation and professional grooming standards
  • High levels of computer literacy
  • Previous experience with a PMS system (Hirum, Fidelio, Opera etc) advantageous
  • The ability to recognize and solve problems in the workplace
  • A flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, public and school holidays
