Child Psychiatry Fellow Opportunity
Overview of the RoleThis is a unique chance for a dynamic and thoughtful Child Psychiatry trainee to develop their clinical expertise in working with infants and young children.
The 12-month Infant Mental Health Fellow position offers an exceptional experience in assessment, diagnosis, and interventions with infants aged 0 to 4 years who present with a range of mental health problems, and with their families.
Clinical liaison and consultation activities will be undertaken, as well as participation in interdisciplinary team meetings, ward rounds, clinical supervision, and other activities as opportunities arise.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Extensive knowledge of child psychiatry principles and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
This role provides a comprehensive experience in assessment, diagnosis, and interventions with infants aged 0 to 4 years who present with a range of mental health problems, and with their families.
