Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

A leading company in Australia seeks a skilled diesel mechanic for various positions across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out on-site servicing, maintenance, and repairs of mobile plant equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical faults and attend machine breakdowns
  • Liaise with supervisors to diagnose issues and coordinate parts
  • Perform major engine and component rebuilds
Requirements:
  • Relevant trade qualification in diesel fitting or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in diesel fitting
  • Extensive experience working with Caterpillar and Volvo equipment
  • Field service experience
  • Experience working with hydraulics
  • Strong focus on safety and quality
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Causal position - ongoing

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. They should be motivated and experienced in diesel fitting, seeking a new challenge.
