ACM EWP GROUP is seeking experienced and highly motivated Diesel Mechanics to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of truck-mounted elevated work platforms (EWPs). This role requires a strong background in diesel engines, hydraulics, and heavy-duty vehicles. You will work closely with our engineering and technical teams to ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems for truck-mounted EWPs.
  • Conduct routine service checks, including oil changes, brake inspections, and engine tune-ups to ensure vehicles are operating at peak performance.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues related to the platform's operation and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance, including inspections of engine components, suspension, and hydraulic systems.
  • Replace or repair worn or defective parts such as bearings, brakes, gearboxes, and electrical components.
  • Ensure that all repairs and maintenance work complies with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed to support repair work on structural components.
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used, labor time, and services performed.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to troubleshoot complex issues and develop long-term solutions.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in heavy-duty vehicles or truck-mounted EWPs.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical diagnostics.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in various positions, lifting heavy equipment and performing tasks in confined spaces.
  • Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in diesel mechanics are required.
  • A valid driver's license is required, and a commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred.
