Fleet Operations Manager Job Description

This leadership role involves overseeing the management of the fleet and ensuring effective service delivery.

  • Manage capital works plant renewal programs, including stakeholder engagement and procurement processes.
  • Promote compliance with regulatory, safety, and policy requirements to drive innovation and best practices.
  • Analyse industry trends in green technology and provide expert advice to senior stakeholders.
  • Develop strategic plans for transitioning the organisation to a sustainable green fleet.

This role requires strong communication and project management skills. A proven track record in fleet and workshop management, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement is essential.

The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality services and driving sustainable change. They will be part of our Leadership Network, providing opportunities for growth and development in a local government context.

Requirements:
  • Curent Victorian Drivers Licence
