Event Operations Manager

The Banquet Captain is a key position that ensures the success of banquet operations. This involves overseeing the setup of services, working closely with catering and sales teams, and partnering with culinary departments to meet demands.
Main Responsibilities- Meeting Space Setup: Set up meeting spaces for banquets and events, adhering to banquet event orders (BEO) for service quality and hospitality.
- Culinary Collaboration: Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation according to event orders.
- Guest Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional guest service and oversee the efficient serving of food and beverages for banquets and events.
- Sanitation Procedures: Maintain adherence to required sanitation procedures for food handling safety.
- Employee Scheduling: Assist with employee scheduling.
- Accurate Guest Checks: Accurately complete guest checks.
- Process Adherence: Follow established processes and procedures.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience as a banquet captain or senior server, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Leadership Skills: Detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with computer systems like Excel, Word, and POS.
- Flexibility: Self-disciplined leader with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
