Key Role: Banquet Captain

This role is crucial in planning and directing the operations of banquet services. As a Banquet Captain, you will oversee the setup of meeting spaces for events to ensure compliance with orders while providing exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that meeting spaces are set up according to orders, maintaining high standards of quality and hospitality.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation, ensuring timely delivery in accordance with event schedules.
  • Supervise and direct the serving of food and beverages, prioritizing prompt and friendly service.
  • Maintain adherence to sanitation procedures for safe food handling.
  • Assist in scheduling employee shifts as needed.
  • Accurately complete guest checks.
  • Display adaptability in following established processes and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a banquet captain or senior server is required.
  • Proven attention to detail, strong leadership skills, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong self-discipline and leadership capabilities.
  • Food Handler Certificate (if applicable).
  • Proficient in computer systems such as Excel, Word, and POS.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
