About the Role

As a Direct Care Worker, you will assist in the care and supervision of residents in our Residential Care Home across the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network.

  • You will be working under limited supervision, assisting with daily tasks, and contributing to creating a positive and supportive environment for our residents.
  • Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact on our community.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist with daily tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household duties.
  2. Contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for residents.
  3. Develop positive relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • AQF Certificate III relevant to the position and experience working with aged care clients.
  • Ability to work well under limited direction and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to maintaining resident confidentiality and displaying empathy towards the elderly.
