About the Role:

GLG seeks a seasoned leader to co-lead its Private Equity Client Solutions team in Australia. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of commercial growth and team management. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing business plans, ensuring best-in-class client service, and facilitating high-value engagements between GLG experts and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business plans in close collaboration with the leadership team, sales team, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure best-in-class client service practices through close coaching and support of direct reports.
  • Facilitate high-value engagements between GLG experts and clients, maintaining industry-leading standards in compliance.
  • Support the sales team in growing GLG client relationships in ANZ, including new clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the GLG Councils Team by developing relationships with GLG's most respected thought leaders and business professionals.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, banking, information services, market research, or other professional services or start-up environments.
  • Strong go-getter attitude and track record of business growth or turnaround.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a team of client service professionals.
  • Successful track record of working in fast-paced, client service environments.
  • Passion for problem-solving.
  • Outstanding communication skills and willingness to call and engage senior professionals.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Understanding of the business climate and interest in working across industries, subjects ranging from industrials to consumer to healthcare.
