Job Title: Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our organization. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the workforce to meet current and future priorities.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and driven individual to lead a team of HR Professionals and contribute to the implementation of the AFP Strategic Workforce Plan. You will be responsible for developing and advising on enterprise solutions to improve workforce challenges, applying your knowledge and expertise to design, develop, and implement strategies for a skilled and capable workforce, setting team directions and ensuring alignment with organisational goals, coaching and developing team members to build technical expertise and foster a collaborative culture.

Key responsibilities include supporting the implementation of the AFP Strategic Workforce Plan, leading teams of HR Professionals on strategic workforce planning, coaching, developing, and upskilling team members to meet capability needs, supporting team members through business and organisational changes, providing tailored recruitment, capability, and operational planning recommendations, drafting papers, policies, and procedures relating to people and workforce planning issues, establishing and maintaining effective relationships internally and externally.

Requirements:
  • A driven and experienced HR professional.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to shape workforce outcomes.
  • Able to generate new ideas and implement them effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
