Responsibilities
  • Analyze blueprints, determine material and labor costs, and identify potential risks.
  • Utilize software tools to create and manage estimates efficiently.
  • Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate pricing.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather data for estimating purposes.
  • Identify potential cost risks such as delays, material shortages, or unforeseen site conditions.
  • Support project management tasks as needed, ensuring timely completion of estimates.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by being professional, respectful, and responsive.
Required Skills
  • Proficient in construction estimating techniques and methodologies.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective negotiation skills to manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols.
  • Experience using estimating software.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in cost calculations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
