Collision Workshop/Production Manager Role

The position of Collision Workshop/Production Manager involves overseeing the workshop operations and managing a team of panel beaters, spray painters, and other production staff to ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity. This includes:

  • Ensuring a safe working environment for all staff at the workshop.
  • Overseeing vehicle processing upon arrival and managing the flow of repairs.
  • Managing the repair process to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality repairs.
  • Meeting productivity targets and customer expectations for the site.

Additional responsibilities include supporting the management of the site to drive profitability and customer satisfaction. A strong understanding of collision repair industry practices and procedures is essential for success in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience in a management role within the collision repair industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to set, manage, and adhere to deadlines.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
  • Organisational skills and the ability to delegate tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
