Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandise Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage sales and inventory of various products, including animal health, ag chem, and general merchandise.
  • Collaborate with store management and sales teams to provide merchandise support.
  • Negotiate with suppliers, develop pricing strategies, oversee stock levels, and marketing initiatives.
  • Analyse market trends, climatic, and seasonal considerations to ensure we are the first choice for rural customers in the region.
Requirements:
  • Experience in pricing and margin management, sales target achievement through category development.
  • Ability to network and identify opportunities for business development.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster solid relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Exposure to SAP ERP and MS Excel.
  • Clean drivers license and Forklift ticket (advantageous).
