We are partnering with a 100% privately-owned Australian family business with a strong commitment to supporting their customers' success. Specialised in designing and manufacturing a wide range of products in food manufacturing, tailored to meet diverse needs. They understand the importance of reliable partnerships and invest back into the business.
The Key Account Manager/Senior Customer Relationship Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing relationships with key accounts. This role is critical to ensuring that the product offerings align with customer needs and that they deliver on their promises, maintaining strong supply chains, and achieving customer satisfaction as outlined in customer agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly manage and oversee major accounts, ensuring that all contract conditions are met and that customers receive the highest level of service.
- Cultivate and sustain deep, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at designated customer sites.
- Regularly conduct site visits and meetings with key customer contacts to gain a thorough understanding of their operations, both short-term and long-term goals, and challenges.
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within your existing accounts and with potential new customers.
- Lead the preparation and delivery of high-quality proposals, RFP responses, and presentations.
- Track and report on sales performance, including pipeline development, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven ability to sell in a B2B environment, ideally within the Corporate Hospitality, Foodservice, or packaging/manufacturing sectors.
- A deep understanding of complex sales cycles and the ability to navigate multi-stakeholder environments is essential.
- A strong track record of establishing and maintaining multi-point contacts with customers.
- Experience or familiarity with food packaging, or similar industries (FMCG), including an understanding of where products and services fit within these markets.
- Experience in preparing annual budgets and customer plans, with the ability to align customer relationship strategies with broader business goals.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, internal stakeholders, and team members at all levels.
