**Job Title:** Mechanical Design Specialist 

We're seeking an experienced mechanical design specialist to join our team in Toowoomba, Queensland.

This role involves planning, managing, and executing mechanical engineering tasks across various product groups and business activities.

The successful candidate will contribute to resolutions for non-conformities and change management requests, commit to continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing methods, ensure best practice and Australian Standards are used in engineering outcomes, and design products that are safe, functional, and robust for long-term operational use.

 

About the Role:

  • Pursue a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Maintain at least 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Stay proficient in relevant engineering software including AutoDesk Suite of Software and Space Gass
  • Have working knowledge of the Australian Standards and the National Construction Code
  • Showcase strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Excel in problem-solving and attention to detail
