Job Role

We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Engineer to drive the design, build, test and operation phases of various products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, production and proficiency in delivering high-quality engineering outcomes.

Key tasks include:

  • Contributing to resolutions to Non-Conformance Reports and Change Management Requests;
  • Commitment to continuous improvement initiatives utilising lean manufacturing methods;
  • Ensuring best practice and adherence to Australian Standards, Regulations, and Codes are used in engineering outcomes;
  • Ensuring products are designed safe, functional and robust in performing their long-term operational tasks;
  • Managing R&D activities within the engineering and design context;
  • Maintaining a strong customer focus to understand requirements and identify solutions.
Requirements

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering is essential.

At least 5 years experience in a similar role is required.

Proficiency in relevant engineering software including AutoDesk Suite of Software is necessary.

A working knowledge of the Australian Standards and the National Construction Code is also required.
