Job Overview

The Role of a Rehabilitation Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Empower clients to select appropriate services tailored to their needs.
  • Establish empathetic relationships with clients through meaningful conversations, utilizing motivational strategies to support their recovery journey.
About the Position:

In this capacity, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to coordinate services and resources in alignment with the Transport Accident Act, supporting clients' rehabilitation and ultimate return to life roles.

You will manage a portfolio of clients with diverse biopsychosocial issues impacting their recovery, fostering a supportive environment for growth and development.

About the Team:

The Rehabilitation Coordination branch is comprised of 9 teams working together to support a wide range of clients, including those with:

  • Child & Youth/Families: Focusing on family, education, and community engagement.
  • Mental Injury Only (MIO): Supporting individuals who have sustained mental injuries from witnessing transport accidents or losing a family member due to such incidents.
  • Work Stream: Aiming to positively impact Return to Work outcomes for self-employed, job-attached, or unattached individuals.
  • Health Stream: Seeking to enhance return-to-life role functioning through early intervention and proactive engagement, tailoring rehabilitation to each client's unique needs.
