Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at our Brisbane and Gold Coast restaurants. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Develop and implement menus that meet our brand standards and exceed guest expectations.
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
    • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and motivate a team of chefs and kitchen staff to achieve our culinary goals.
    • Provide coaching and training to ensure that all team members have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional results.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes collaboration and open communication.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Develop and implement efficient kitchen systems and processes to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Monitor and control kitchen costs, ensuring that we meet our financial targets.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that our kitchen operations are aligned with the overall business strategy.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (desired but not essential).
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
    • Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for delivering high-quality food and exceptional guest experiences.
    • Knowledge of kitchen operations, including food safety and hygiene procedures.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
    • Eligibility to work in Australia.
