Parts Business Operations Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Parts Manager. This individual will be responsible for leading our parts business, ensuring operational and financial performance aligns with company objectives.
This key position involves collaborating with product managers on new product development and requirements for the Australian market, as well as partnering closely with the sales team to identify and fulfill parts opportunities.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Australian crane industry and experience managing warehouse operations. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to negotiate effectively within a supplier environment.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Maximize operational and financial performance of the parts business in line with company objectives.
- Promote and sell the complete range of Manitowoc spare parts through direct and dealer routes to market.
- Build strong relationships with end-users to facilitate parts business with crane rental companies.
- Participate in new product development and requirements for the Australian markets.
- Work closely with the sales team on new opportunities regarding part sales, recommended part lists, customer relations, and ensure direct parts orders are fulfilled.
- Oversee all aspects of the parts processes and work within the discount structure as agreed with the Customer Service Director and/or GM/VP Sales.
- Manage warehouse operations and ensure accurate stock levels in both system and physical.
- Perform other areas of responsibility as assigned.
