Job Overview

The Category Development Manager is responsible for driving success across Consumer Brands portfolio by leading the development and implementation of Category Growth Platforms in collaboration with senior managers.

  • Develop and execute 4P Category Success Model principles to drive business growth.
  • Conduct data analysis to uncover insights and opportunities, informing category strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Brand, and Marketing teams to deliver impactful brand and product launches.
  • Present category plans and new product opportunities to key retail partners, fostering strong relationships.

A strong understanding of category drivers and market dynamics is essential to influence trade-related activity and deliver commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development and implementation of Category Growth Platforms.
  2. Shape and execute 4P Category Success Model principles.
  3. Conduct detailed data modelling and analysis.
  4. Partner with Sales and leadership teams to build customer/brand activation calendars.
  5. Deliver impactful brand and product launches.
  6. Present category plans and new product opportunities to key retail partners.
