Tanner Menzies, a leading marketer and distributor of well-loved animal care brands, is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Category Insights Manager.

The Role

This exciting opportunity has become available due to company growth and internal promotion. You will be an integral part of our collaborative and dynamic team, reporting to and partnering with the Head of Category & Insights.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with the Sales team in customer engagement sessions to identify growth initiatives during annual range review cycles.
  • Providing data-led insights to drive marketing strategy across all channels, including local and global sources to direct NPD development.
  • Supporting sales to grow, develop and implement strategic account plans through data-led insights aligned with broader business strategy, objectives, and internal perspectives.
  • Participating in cross-functional teams to achieve commercial objectives across assigned financial parameters.
  • Supporting long-term category strategy development through 3-year planning and innovation processes.
  • Identifying future category trends and assisting in the development of category growth drivers through Annual Internal Category Planning.
  • Collaborating with internal and external customers to provide expert category analysis blending consumer insights and shopper dynamics.
  • Developing and recommending optimal promotional strategies delivering against key metrics for success.
  • Engaging key stakeholders to identify how shoppers shop and providing this data to Sales & Marketing teams.
