Job Title: Head of Construction HSE APAC

Vestas is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Head of Construction HSE APAC to join our specialized team.

About the Role:

The HSE department aims to support the business by providing a HSE System to understand their HSE risk profile, identify legislative HSE requirements, and develop, implement, monitor, and improve plans and controls for effective HSE management.

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate visible HSE Leadership and support the APAC Construction business.
  • Lead a team of regionally-based HSE Managers to support the delivery of Construction contracts.
  • Manage HSE risk and improve Safety Culture.
  • Develop and maintain local construction HSE Management Systems.
  • Deliver targeted injury reduction programs.
  • Support the delivery of global and regional tactical plan initiatives.
  • Assist in HSEMS Implementation, Assurance, Monitoring, and Incident Management.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma WHS/OHS/E or higher.
  • 10+ years in a relevant technical/operational background.
  • Experience across Asia Pacific preferred; ANZ Construction experience is a must.
  • Lead Auditor and Tap Root or ICAM Investigation Lead certification.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Above medium level Microsoft Office skills, notably Excel.
  • A passion for HSE and providing a safe environment.
