Waste Operations Supervisor

The role of Waste Operations Supervisor requires a high degree of leadership and coordination across waste services. As a key member of the team, you will foster a culture of safety, compliance and continuous improvement.
- Supervise daily operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and adherence to regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and advice to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Monitor driver schedules and ensure compliance with HVNL and CoR regulations.
- Document and action incidents, near misses and training to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular toolbox talks and support staff development to improve performance and engagement.
- Maintain accurate records and performance data to inform decision-making.
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to achieve operational excellence.
- HR Class Driver's Licence.
- Proven experience leading operational teams, preferably in waste management.
- Excellent understanding of safety procedures and legal compliance (HVNL & CoR).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in training, supervising, and mentoring staff.
- Ability to analyze service issues and implement practical solutions.
- Confident working with records, reports and performance data.
