Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Coordinator

This role involves coordinating and delivering plumbing maintenance, repairs, and minor works across a large precinct. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client requests, supervising contractors, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plumbing Maintenance and Repairs: Deliver and coordinate plumbing maintenance, repairs, and minor works to meet safety, quality, budget, and timeframes.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the main client contact, managing requests and ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Contractor Supervision: Supervise contractors, source quotes, and oversee works to meet safety, quality, budget, and timeframes.
  • Asset Inspection and Monitoring: Inspect and monitor building assets and systems, log jobs, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Trade Qualifications: Possess trade qualifications in plumbing and a QBCC plumbing license.
  • Maintenance Experience: Have extensive maintenance experience in building maintenance across large and complex facilities.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate strong technical expertise in building maintenance, including roof and drainage systems.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Hold a current open Queensland Driver's Licence and a Gas Fitter's License (highly regarded).
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
