Maintenance Manager Role Overview

As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility and grounds maintenance to ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise the maintenance team, contractors, and external trades.
  • Develop and manage the site's maintenance schedules and preventative programs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor maintenance budgets and contribute to strategic planning for capital works and asset upgrades.
  • Oversee the upkeep of buildings, plant, and equipment to ensure optimal function and safety.
  • Coordinate and conduct general repairs, preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Ensure timely and effective response to maintenance requests and safety concerns.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Trade qualification or extensive experience in a similar facilities management role.
  • Proven leadership and team coordination experience.
  • Sound understanding of building compliance, health and safety regulations, and asset management.
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks and safely operate tools and machinery.
