Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Resource Geologist to oversee resource estimation and geological modeling for our client, a leading mining company.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop compliant resource models for porphyry and similar deposits using geostatistical techniques (Kriging, Indicator Kriging, LUC).
  • Conduct metallurgical modeling for process planning, ensuring QAQC compliance for copper grade estimation.
  • Collaborate with teams and consultants on complex geological issues, applying analytical skills and problem-solving strategies.
  • Supervise technical teams, ensuring project efficiency and adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Geology or Mining Engineering.
  • Experience: At least 7 years in resource estimation and 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Leadership, technical reporting, and proficiency in Leapfrog, Isatis or Supervisor, MS Office Suite.
Technical Skills
  • Intermediate: Leapfrog, Isatis or Supervisor, MS Office Suite.
  • JORC Compliance: Hands-on experience in JORC resource modeling.
