At Yooralla, we are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead a dedicated team of disability support workers in our Residential Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities and their families.

We offer an attractive remuneration package, including an estimated salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.

Company Overview: Yooralla is Victoria's most established and recognised for-purpose disability service provider, offering high-quality support services to people with disability for over 100 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a dedicated team of disability support workers, providing high-intensity support to clients.
  • Ensure the overall performance of the service aligns with annual work plans and meets established targets.
  • Promote person-directed support and community participation that exceeds minimum disability standards, all within available resources.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of supported accommodation services, surpassing identified Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide high-quality support to customers and their families, offering management support to care staff.

About You: To be successful in this role, you'll share Yooralla's Values and have:

  • Demonstrated management experience, preferably within a community services environment.
  • Understanding of legislation and standards relevant to the disability sector.
  • Knowledge and understanding of how to support staff in implementing contemporary and person-centered approaches to uphold the rights and support needs of individuals with disabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage financial and staff resources within a complex environment.
  • Initiative and organization, with excellent initiative, self-directed work practices, and highly developed organizational skills.
