Job Overview

This leadership position plays a pivotal role in shaping the City's infrastructure and capital works programs, ensuring innovative, sustainable, and community-focused outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of strategic planning and performance initiatives, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive project success from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the City's vision and goals
  • Provide informed advice to stakeholders on integrated decision making
  • Align work with strategic plans and budgets, delivering on key projects and initiatives
  • Apply knowledge of the political, social, legal, and organisational context to all initiatives

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) include:

  • Successful delivery of strategic plans and projects
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and communication
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Registered building practitioner and/or Chartered Engineer with Engineers Australia
  • Current Driver Licence
