Financial Assistant - Home Care

At LDK Seniors' Living, we're committed to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. As a Financial Assistant - Home Care, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our home care client accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and record all accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general banking transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain individual Home Care Package accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial information.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly Home Care Package activity statements and other financial reports.
  • Support the Home Care Package claim process and assist with Commonwealth Home Support Program and other funding sources claims.
  • Manage receipting and settle accounts receivable, ensuring timely payment and reconciliation.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and assist with month-end processing.
  • Provide support in timely Home Care financial reporting, analysis, and other support functions.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders as required.
Requirements:
  • Accounting or bookkeeping qualification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Aged or Community Care sector.
  • Strong communication and data processing skills, with proficiency in operating systems and Xero.
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks to meet tight reporting deadlines.
