Business Advisory & Compliance:
As a Senior Accountant Business Advisory at OnTalent, you will be responsible for preparing complex financial statements and taxation compliance documents for clients. You will also handle general bookkeeping and activity statements, communicate effectively with clients, and liaise with ATO and other government bodies. Additionally, you will ensure accurate data entry and adherence to organizational processes.
Leadership:
You will conduct first-round reviews of junior staff work to ensure compliance with accounting standards. You will also offer coaching and support to develop junior team members' skills, delegate tasks, and set clear goals for junior staff while modeling positive leadership.
Key Skills & Competencies:
You will possess strong knowledge of accounting principles and organizational procedures. You will also have excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration, and be ethical, proactive, and accountable in all professional activities.
Experience Requirements:
You will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, completed or nearing completion of CA/CPA certification, and 3+ years of public practice accounting experience.
Personal Attributes:
You will demonstrate a commitment to ethical behavior and teamwork, a positive, flexible, and results-oriented mindset, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and present professionally.
This role demands a proactive approach to accounting, strong leadership qualities, and a commitment to the success of the team and organization.
What's on Offer:
You will receive a competitive salary circa $95K plus super, ongoing CA/CPA annual membership fees paid, WFH up to 2 days per week, performance-based bonus program, bring your dog to work days, mentorship & leadership programs, team lunches and social events, snacks, healthy eats, beer/wine fridge and keg in kitchen, and end of trip facilities.
