The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Team Leader to lead our team of disability support workers. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our accommodation, managing the budget and expenditure, and ensuring the health and wellbeing of our participants and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of disability support workers to deliver high-quality care and support services.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of our accommodation, including maintenance and upkeep.
  • Manage the accommodation budget and expenditure, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Liaise with allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Effective management of roster and staff issues, ensuring a stable and productive work environment.
  • Monitor the health and wellbeing of participants and staff, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Organize recreational activities for participants, promoting socialization and engagement.
  • Encourage team and participants to meet their goals, providing coaching and support as needed.
  • Coordinate team meetings and coaching staff to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage rosters and submit progress reports, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Coordinate meals, activities, and appointments, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Individual Support Disability, Aged Care, or equivalent.
  • First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration training or willingness to obtain.
  • Current Driver's License.
