The Role

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of disability support workers, managing day-to-day operations of accommodation, and overseeing the management of the accommodation budget and expenditure.

  • Lead a team of disability support workers to ensure high-quality care and support.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the accommodation, including maintenance and upkeep.
  • Oversee the management of the accommodation budget and expenditure, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Liaise with allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Effectively manage rosters and staff issues to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Monitor the health and wellbeing of participants and staff, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Organize recreational activities for participants, promoting socialization and engagement.
  • Encourage team and participants to meet their goals, providing coaching and support as required.
  • Coordinate team meetings and provide coaching to staff to ensure high-quality care and support.
  • Manage rosters and submit progress reports to ensure accountability and transparency.
  • Coordinate meals, activities, and appointments to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for participants.
Additional Requirements

Mandatory Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support Disability, Aged Care, or equivalent.
  • Have First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration training or be willing to obtain.
  • Hold a current Driver's License.
