Cocoon SDA Care is seeking a skilled and dedicated Team Leader to join our team. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of disability support workers and managing the day-to-day operations of our accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of disability support workers to provide high-quality care and support to our participants.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of our accommodation, including budgeting and expenditure.
  • Carry out any maintenance required at the accommodation.
  • Liaise with allied health professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our participants.
  • Effective management of roster and staff issues.
  • Monitor the health and wellbeing of participants and staff.
  • Organize different recreational activities for participants.
  • Encourage team and participants to meet their goals.
  • Coordinate team meetings and coach staff.
  • Manage rosters and submit progress reports.
  • Coordinate meals, activities, and appointments.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support Disability, Aged Care, or equivalent.
  • First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration training or willingness to obtain.
  • Current Driver's License.
