Key Leadership Role Summary
This leadership position oversees a portfolio of early childhood centres in regional Queensland, providing guidance and strategic direction to Centre Managers.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site support and mentorship to regional services.
- Lead the development of high-performing teams by coaching and mentoring Centre Directors.
- Offer pedagogical expertise to support educational leadership.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and the National Quality Framework (NQF), driving continuous improvement.
- Monitor service performance, occupancy, and targets to inform decision-making.
- Prepare regular reports on visits, outcomes, and progress.
- Maintain readiness for assessments, ratings, and audits through proactive planning.
- Build strong relationships with families, educators, communities, stakeholders, and regulators through effective communication.
About This Opportunity
We seek a seasoned leader with:
- A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent) or relevant qualification with significant leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of child development, early childhood education, and the NQF.
- Proven ability to develop and lead high-performing teams, leveraging strengths and addressing challenges.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, with a focus on collaboration and results-oriented work.
- Understanding of service leadership, staff management, and community engagement principles.
- Current certifications and knowledge of ECEC legislation, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
