Urban Development Civil Designer

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on major buildings projects as a key member of the civil design team. You will be responsible for undertaking the drafting of residential, industrial and commercial buildings projects and related activities.

As a senior civil designer, you will work in a team of experienced professionals, liaising with clients on a regular basis and managing your own design projects. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior drafters in the use of AutoCAD software.

To be successful in this role, you will need extensive experience working on urban development projects, including the design of bulk earthworks, stormwater and local roads. Proficiency in the usage of AutoCAD software is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake the drafting of residential, industrial and commercial buildings projects and related activities;
  • Work in a team of civil design professionals, whilst liaising with clients on a regular basis;
  • Manage your own design projects;
  • Mentor junior drafters in the use of AutoCAD software.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience working on urban development projects, including the design of bulk earthworks, stormwater and local roads;
  • Proficiency in the usage of AutoCAD software;
  • Experience in VIC as a Civil Drafter or Technician.
