Job Description

In this role you'll provide essential and practical care to help older people live a comfortable and enjoyable life.

Cooinda is an aged care facility based in a rural town, employing almost 130 staff across many different roles. We are looking for personal care workers to join our team.

We have many career opportunities and are always looking for people passionate about caring for others.

We offer thorough and supportive training as well as a great induction to the aged care industry and the expectations and rights of our residents.

  • Providing personal care - showering, toileting, dressing and other personal cares
  • Providing manual handling support to team members, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for other staff and residents

You are empathetic, patient and solutions-focused.

You may have previous experience in aged or community care, or are looking to start your career in aged care.

Ideally, you'll have a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Individual Support, or an equivalent qualification. If you're not currently qualified and would like to be, you can complete your certificate at no cost to you.
