Job Description:

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our consumers. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and enhancing the overall well-being of our consumers.

You will work closely with our team to achieve consumer goals, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times.

Key Selection Criteria:
  • Demonstrated ability to work professionally, both independently and within a team, to achieve consumer goals;
  • Demonstrated commitment to provide professional Health Care Worker services that are person-directed and safe, using a wellness and enablement approach;
  • Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times, and continues after this employment arrangement has ceased;
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate, subjective and timely documentation;
  • Professional interpersonal, oral, written communication skills, including information technology skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to provide person-focused care to the consumer.
Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Ageing or Individual Support;
  • Victorian Driver's Licence;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
