This role plays a pivotal part in prioritising the well-being of our residents above all else.We are seeking a motivated individual to make a positive impact, become part of our close-knit team, and be a source of support and comfort for our residents.The positionReporting to the Village Manager, you will be responsible for:Assisting and supporting residents in their daily activities, including tasks like continence management, showering, dressing, and personal groomingEnsuring residents receive their prescribed medications promptly and accuratelyCollaborating in the preparation, service, and delivery of daily meals and special functions for our residentsManaging laundry tasks for residents as required, maintaining their comfort and hygieneWe're looking for someone with:Demonstrated experience in aged care or a similar roleExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalCertificate III in Aged Care or Individual SupportAbility to obtain a National Police CheckFirst Aid & CPR certification or ability to obtainWillingness to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testingWe prioritize the wellbeing of our team members and regularly run initiatives such as safety training, wellness challenges, mental health awareness programs, and a free annual flu vaccination program.Our dedicated learning and development team provides industry-recognized training programs to support your personal and professional growth while working at RetireAustralia.RetireAustralia also offers a free and confidential Employee Assistance Program to support employees and their families with work-related and personal issues.Who we areRetireAustralia is a leading private owner, operator, and developer of retirement villages, focused on creating thriving communities where older Australians can live the life they choose in their own homes.We are expanding our communities across New South Wales, Queensland, and South Australia, pioneering a continuum of care model that combines independent living with home care services and on-site higher acuity care facilities.
