We are seeking an accomplished Principal Engineer to lead our transport infrastructure presence in South Australia.

This is a strategic opportunity to build a team, shape our market offering, and establish yourself as a future leader of our transport business in Adelaide.

As part of our Civil Infrastructure team, you will play a central role in developing local capability, fostering client relationships, and delivering complex and high-profile road and highway projects.

You will be responsible for:

  • Building and leading a high-performing Adelaide-based transport team, mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
  • Detailed design and delivery of major roads and highways projects from concept to construction.
  • Leveraging your market knowledge and network to help grow our business across South Australia.
  • Providing strategic and technical leadership across multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Overseeing project operations including quality assurance, risk mitigation, and cost control.
  • Collaborating with clients, government bodies, and stakeholders to deliver integrated and innovative solutions.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Strong local industry knowledge and established networks in the South Australian transport sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Proven success in delivering large-scale roads and highways infrastructure projects.
  • Expertise in 12D, AutoCAD, and comprehensive understanding of Austroads and DIT standards.
