Project Management Lead Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Project Management Lead to drive the delivery of projects and programs that impact our communities positively.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a project management framework to standardize planning, prioritization, and delivery of capital and operational programs and projects
  • Provide support and training to relevant staff on project management principles, business cases, and whole-life project cost analysis
  • Contribute to monthly financial reports, including project status and completion information
  • Support project owners, managers, and procurement teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of capital expenditure and commitments

Requirements:

  1. Project management certification (e.g. Prince2, PMBOK, PMP) or equivalent recognized project management methodology
  2. Registered Project Management status with the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) or capability of achieving this status
  3. Experience working in a local government environment
