Job Title: Track Maintenance Manager

The track maintenance manager is a key role in the delivery of excellent country racing services. This permanent full-time position oversees the preparation and daily maintenance of racing and training facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

This includes overseeing daily track inspections to ensure consistent surface integrity, implementing safety protocols to minimise injury risk to horses and riders, managing and maintaining all track-related machinery, scheduling and supervising equipment usage and servicing, recruiting, training and managing a team of track personnel, coordinating shift schedules, workload distribution and safety compliance, and ensuring all necessary qualifications and experience are met.

Key Requirements
  • A strong background in thoroughbred racing and training track maintenance or equivalent.
  • Appropriate accreditation in horticulture or green keeping.
  • A valid Class C Drivers License.

Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends and race days, is essential for this role.
