Job Overview

The role of Business Development Lead is crucial in delivering commercial objectives and managing trade investments effectively.

This position involves developing and executing winning business strategies for distributors and trade channels. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining long-term partnerships with external parties.
  • Acquiring a deep understanding of customer needs and requirements.
  • Understanding shopper behavior, categories, and market trends.
  • Selling and implementing solutions with cross-functional teams both externally and internally.
  • Resolving client issues and acting as a liaison between external and internal teams.

Requirements include:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the consumer goods industry, preferably in retail, distribution, or brand management.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, including Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Foundational knowledge of trade operations and regulations.
  • Ability to handle sales and commercial aspects of Modern Retail, Australian Ethnic Supermarket, and Food Service trade channels.
  • English and Mandarin proficiency is mandatory, with Cantonese being an asset.
