As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Developing personalized care plans for residents, in consultation with the resident/resident representative, and collaboration with clinical, medical, allied health and lifestyle staff.
- Evaluating medical and or allied health professional directives and ensuring they are carried out effectively.
- Investigating changes in the health or condition of residents and reporting to Clinical Care Coordinator/Facility Manager.
- Providing high-quality direct care to residents, demonstrating expertise in contemporary clinical practice and acting as a role model for staff.
To succeed, you will require:
- A current AHPRA registration and Bachelor of Nursing degree.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to foster effective relationships.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workloads according to resident needs, work as a member of a multidisciplinary team, and lead staff.
- Computer literacy with Aged Care software and Microsoft Office suite.
- A commitment to providing compassionate and empathetic care to our residents while respecting their privacy, choices and cultural preferences.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (aged care preferred).
