An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Pega Engineer Transformation Lead to join the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ) in Melbourne.

As a Senior System Architect, you will be at the heart of ANZ Plus, leading design and implementation of Pega decisioning to support customer experience transformation. You will use Agile methods to design and deliver business and technical solutions for initiatives within the ANZ Transformation program.

About the Role

You will lead the design and development of customer data models by sourcing data from multiple systems using batch and real-time data ingestion. This includes designing and developing components to scale Pega CDH applications across multiple channels to help ANZ deliver value to customers.

You will work closely with Solution Architects and Lead System Architects to refine and implement designs iteratively, monitor and optimize applications for scale, adhere to PEGA systems design principles and development guardrails, and enforce best practices in architecture, design, and code.

In addition, you will ensure that application design, implementation, and delivery adhere to ANZ standards, controls, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead design, development, testing, and deployment of applications.
  • Develop good understanding of data models, integrations, and features of Pega decisioning.
  • Experience in designing and managing Pega Decisioning applications is essential.
  • Understanding of Cloud, data, and integration platforms is an advantage.
  • Experience in designing and implementing sync and async integration using REST/JMS/MQ.
  • Proven experience in promoting Pega best practices and guardrail compliance.
  • Ability to identify risks and issues and propose solutions effectively.
  • Manage development, testing, and production environments.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working on mid-to-large-sized projects.
  • Experience working in agile delivery teams.
  • Growth mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with senior stakeholders.
  • Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA).
