Job Summary

We are seeking highly motivated and passionate professionals to join our team as Developmental Educators in Greater Western Sydney. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with participants, their families, and support teams to develop new skills and habits, problem-solve challenges, and enhance quality-of-life outcomes.

About the Role

This is an ongoing full-time or part-time opportunity (minimum 4 days per week) offering a salary range of $83,582-$100,342, including annual leave loading and superannuation. You will be based in Greater Western Sydney and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of our participants.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments using our LEAD evidence-based assessment tool to identify individual needs and goals.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized plans, ensuring seamless wrap-around support for participants and their families.
  • Provide person-centered support and planning, focusing on building strong relationships and empowering participants to achieve their goals.
  • Pursue professional growth and development through regular peer group supervision, mentoring, and training opportunities.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

A Bachelor or Master's degree in Disability or equivalent, with eligibility to become a member of the DEAI (membership required upon commencement).Passion for removing barriers using the social model of therapy and a strong advocacy for inclusion.Empathy, understanding, and a non-judgmental approach.The ability to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children's Check.A valid driver's license.What We Offer
