Job Title: Performance Improvement Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Performance Improvement Officer. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who can help us drive quality improvement initiatives across various healthcare settings.

  • Develop and implement performance metrics and indicators to measure quality improvement outcomes;
  • Conduct literature reviews and data analysis to inform policy and procedural changes;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver training programs on quality improvement methodologies;
  • Provide secretariat support to committees and working groups, including preparing meeting papers, minutes, and action items;
  • Support the development of business cases and proposals for funding opportunities;
About the Role

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in quality improvement, project management, and stakeholder engagement. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including clinicians, administrators, and other healthcare professionals;
  • Identifying areas for quality improvement and developing strategic plans to address these gaps;
  • Coordinating and facilitating workshops, meetings, and training sessions to promote quality improvement practices;
  • Providing technical assistance and guidance to staff on quality improvement initiatives;
  • Serving as a liaison between departments and units to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as public health, health administration, or a related discipline;
  • Significant experience in quality improvement, project management, and stakeholder engagement;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable recommendations;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
